The third and final season of ' Squid Game ' has swept Netflix 's global list of non-English language series, released Wednesday, while its two predecessors reappeared in the top 10.

The latest season of the global phenomenon, consisting of six episodes and released on June 27, overwhelmingly topped the platform's weekly charts with 60.1 million views between June 23 and 29, far surpassing its closest rival, the Spanish series "Olympo," which registered 6.9 million.

The renewed success also boosted previous installments: the second season climbed to number 3 and the first, the most-watched in the platform's history, to number 6, confirming the franchise's sustained popularity four years after its debut.

The third season also far surpassed the English-language series "Waterfront," which leads the list of series with 11.6 million views .
